Duties: Evaluate various metrics, KPIs and build derived datasets with relevant metrics for downstream applications and users. Own the correctness and maintenance of the datasets. Perform exploratory, systematic and statistical data analysis to provide insights into strategy performance at desk. Deep dive into data to support the requirements for prescriptive and predictive modeling at the trading desk. Engage with data vendors to understand the characteristics of the datasets. Propose hypothesis to improve strategies, design experiments to measure the changes and apply rigorous statistical tests to prove/disprove the hypothesis. Telecommuting Permitted. Wage Range: $200,000-$250,000.
