Duties: Work with traders to build new execution strategies and enhance existing ones. Build out a robust common framework library for the firm or building messaging APIs for developing distributed, real-time trading systems. Have a broad and deep understanding of software engineering concepts, sharp software development skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Partner with the firmwide safety committee to ensure the platform is operationally safe and sound. Understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver software into the production environment in a timely and robust manner. Foster collaboration with other teams including operations, option pricing, exchange access, inventory and risk management, and quality assurance. Telecommuting is permitted. Wage Range: $120,000 - $250,000.
