Establish best practices for coding standards, software design patterns, and system security. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and product roadmaps. Software Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient software components using best-in-class programming languages and frameworks. Ensure that solutions meet performance, reliability, and security benchmarks. Engage in hands-on coding to build critical features and solve complex technical challenges. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Communicate technical requirements and constraints to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals. Participate in technical discussions and provide expert insight to support cross-functional decision-making. Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Project Planning & Execution: Define project tasks and resource requirements in collaboration with engineering managers and other leads. Break down large initiatives into manageable work streams, ensuring clear ownership and timely delivery. Track progress, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust priorities as needed to meet business objectives. Research & Innovation: Investigate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Evaluate potential solutions, create proofs of concept, and recommend adoption plans to improve product performance and reliability. Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides. Identify opportunities for process improvements in the development lifecycle and champion adoption of new tools or practices to enhance efficiency.
