Flextronics America, LLC in Austin, Texas seeks Quality Engineer: Provide engineering support in the identification of root causes and development of corrective actions. Design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data. Responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Develop and implement engineering methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess costs and responsibility. Assure data availability and integrity for all quality related data, consolidating and reporting quality results. Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. Report yields and management of the Defect Reduction Team. Develop and initiate engineering standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation. Establish engineering programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities. Support risk assessment documentation development and Device History Record review and approval. Initiate corrective action requests as needed and track to satisfactory completion. Assist with the development and implementation of quality audits.
