Coordinate model launches at NA manufacturing plant for engineering process set-up, die trials, & milestone activities. Develop/implement plans to function-check dies in offline & home line presses.
Requirements: BS auto engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or similar discipline, & 3 years stamping. Experience using CATIA, AutoCAD, C3, or similar 3-D design tool. Knowledge of mechanics of materials & tooling & machining. Position subject to possible relocation to unanticipated worksites throughout U.S. 50% domestic/international (Canada, Mexico, & Japan) travel.
