The position includes the following duties: Assess vehicles' conditions and catalog all usable/salvageable parts. Safely remove and dispose of all fluids following environmental and safety regulations. Extract batteries, airbags, refrigerants and other hazardous materials preventing spills and contamination. Use hand and power tools to disassemble the vehicle by removing doors, panels, bumpers, steering wheels, seats, glass, and mirrors. Dismantle the engine, transmission, electrical system, wheels, brakes and other parts. Clean and tag all usable parts. Safely secure those parts in a freight container for international shipping.
