Duties: Project leadership: overseeing portfolio valuation engagements for major private capital firms (Private Equity, Private Debt, Hedge Funds and Business Development Company) under ASC§820 guidelines for financial reporting purposes. Client Relationship Management: building and maintaining client relationships, providing strategic insights (valuation expert advice) and being solution oriented. Expertise & execution: designing financial models to value complex portfolios of private loans and equities including senior secured and subordinated debt, convertible preferred and common equity, warrants and other derivatives. Valuing illiquid securities and establishing best in class valuation policies and procedures for regulatory oversight. Team leadership and Development: managing a team of 20+ people worldwide across various projects. Mentoring, guiding and allocating human resources among large projects while fostering a collaborative culture. Business Development & Strategy: identifying growth opportunities, drafting Proposals and RFPs and expanding service offerings. Compliance and Risk Management: ensuring regulatory compliance, addressing audit and legal inquiries and mitigating risks associated with valuation assignments. Strategic Contributions: shaping the organizational strategy by contributing to the firm's overall growth strategy and representing the firm (attending events, seminars or conferences). Individual may be required to travel domestically or internationally to represent the firm at events, seminars or conferences. Frequency of travel: no more than quarterly.
