STRATTEC Security Corp is seeking a Quality Manager for its Milwaukee, WI, HQ. Will be responsible for championing, coordinating, and driving the continuous improvement of manufacturing & product quality systems at STRATTEC with a particular focus on leading the Company's Quality Assurance Departments.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; 3 years of product or quality engineering experience in the Tier 1 Automotive parts and components supply industry which includes analysis of engineering specifications, industry standards, and test specifications; Design For Manufacturing (DFM) assessment of product designs; new product risk assessment; creation of Bills of Materials (BOM); generation of engineering change notices; development of product validation strategies; and development of Failure Mode Prevention documents, including Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Boundary and P-Diagrams, and Design Review Based on Failure Mode (DRBFM); and 1 year of supervision or management experience in the Tier 1 Automotive parts and components supply industry which includes providing guidance to product or quality engineering during the development of automotive components as well as leadership towards the achievement of product or quality engineering goals and delivery. Very limited (5%) domestic (up to 1 week/year) and international (up to 2 weeks/year) travel to supplier locations.
