Stevens Capital Management LP in Radnor, PA seeks Fund Accountant to contribute to team responsible for accounting and operations (back & middle office) function of funds, including NAV generation, regulatory filing, financial statement preparation & operations maintenance. Responsible for assisting in generation of monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports to regulatory agencies. Responsible for assisting generation of shadow NAVs for each fund with daily & monthly tie-outs with Citco Fund Services funds administration. Responsible for building audit schedule used to generate funds' annual financial statements. Detect, design & implement improvement in execution, clearing & reconciliation function of funds, including confirm broker margin calculations, confirm fee calculations with global exchanges & communicate with various prime brokers to correct inaccuracies. Perform document & amend competency of 3rd party investment manager accounting, compliance & oversight funds, & assist in generation of monthly NAVs for all accounting investments. Operate in proprietary software environment designed to assist in reconciliation & monitoring of fund exposures. Identify inefficiencies in capital allocation, margin management, financing spreads & other. Utilize 3rd party vendor data & system integrate internal programs to external data source. Analyze financial statements of fund & of fund investments within portfolio.
A hybrid (in-office & remote work) arrangement is available. (Candidate may work from home 1-2 days/week.)
Required bachelor in accounting, economics, or related & 18 months of experience in public accounting; 12 months of experience with following: use financial metrics for investment accounting; with dataset management, including usage of automated query tools; work with financial markets; produce, review & analyze financial statements; & regulatory report requirements within the investment management industry.
