Independently design & implement complex, large-scale software systems according to object-oriented principles responsible for accounting for tradeoffs complexity, reliability, scalability & performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or closely related technical field & 1 year experience in position offered, Software Engineering or related position. Alternate, employer will accept Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or closely related technical field.
Must have demonstrated ability in:
- Algorithms & data structures
- Web or mobile app programming
- Object-oriented design principles
- Programming websites, web app program interfaces, or mobile apps in TypeScript, JavaScript, Scala, or Swift
- Creating web or mobile user interfaces in React, Kotlin or Swift
- Writing automated regression tests with React-Testing-Library, Chai, or Scala Test
- Debugging live production systems
- Database knowledge: SQL, ORM, NoSQL or SQLite
- Database management systems including Postgres or MySQL
- Data modeling & full stack app development
