Teradyne, Inc. seeks Product Engineer in San Jose, CA.
• Perform field failure analysis using available data, find root, and identify corrective action.
• Interface with Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) Design engineering, Product engineering and other internal and external subcontractor groups to achieve desired improvement goals.
• Drive improvement efforts to achieve quality goals.
• Identify key avenues of investigation, work along with other engineers on open issues, track progress, and escalate as necessary.
• Evaluate hardware including HW / SW integration, HW debug, HW performance, statistical analysis, and setting of production test limits.
• Conduct product performance and reliability analysis and perform system level, module level and component level troubleshooting.
• Execute experiments and analyze results.
• Work on Teradyne's automated memory test systems, which are advanced semiconductor test platforms used by leading memory manufacturers to test and validate DRAM, Flash, LPDDR, HBM, and other memory devices during product development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Conduct product performance and reliability analysis on Teradyne memory tester platforms, perform system-level, module-level, and component-level troubleshooting, and support continuous improvements to product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction.
• Work in automated test equipment (ATE) industry, specifically within the field of electrical and electronic engineering for manufacturing and testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering and suppliers to support, improve, and sustain Teradyne's memory test systems used by memory manufacturers worldwide.
• Work on memory test equipment, product reliability engineering, failure analysis, system integration, manufacturing support, and continuous product improvement for advanced memory testing applications.
