Development & optimization of coating formulations in the Refinish Portfolio, spanning Undercoat, Topcoat, & Clearcoat chemistries; work as part of a global team to support global/regional product launches & product optimizations.
Requires Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or closely related field & 2 years experience in job offered or as Process Technician Engineer. Background in education, training, or experience must include practical experience in the chemical industry; strong working knowledge of Refinish industry & hand spray application techniques; demonstrated understanding of color theory, along with working knowledge of Analytical testing & Accelerated Weathering Testing capabilities; must be able to work well in both self-managed & team environment; excellent organizational skills & documentation of experimental testing is a requirement to effectively manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. 10-20% domestic travel required to potential company sites, client visits & training purposes.
