Execute equity trades for clients. Evaluate financial market conditions & develop strategies to respond to market changes. Gather/synthesize macroeconomic & political info in Global Markets to present to international investors.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or related field + 5 years experience trading at financial services firm with focus on Latin America. Knowledge of equities industry/products including cash equities, ETFs, ADRs, & familiarity with corporate actions (dividends, splits, rights issues); trading regulations in Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico; flow of funds/cross-border implications when trading with offshore clients & trading/settlement of securities in Latin America region. Familiarity with TOMS, Fidessa, Tropical, Bloomberg trade systems. Will sponsor for Series 7/63 if not already licensed.
