Duties:
• As a key focal point within LTC, this position helps to ensure all activities within the ecosystem are managed as efficiently and effectively as possible. Working in close partnership with Director, L&T along with the rest of the LTC team to define, design, plan and execute strategic initiatives utilizing a structured project management approach and drive process optimization and on time delivery.
• Accountable for leading and managing a team to support execution of all LTC activities – events, programs, projects including data compilation and analysis, identification and execution of learning needs and critical programs, budget oversight and training funding programs, consistency in delivery of learning operations, optimization of digital platforms and learning engagement strategies, compliance and coordination of activities, dashboards/reporting/record keeping/trend analysis, audits, supplier/vendor/procurement management, internal and external interaction with trainers, partners, SMEs and stakeholders, communications, marketing and branding strategy and campaigns, maintenance and management of the LMS, continuous improvement, etc.
• Manage maintenance and improvement of the Learning Management System (Cornerstone on Demand) for North America in collaboration with the Thales Learning & Culture Global team.
• Design an analytical approach, and deliver findings using data, visualizations, and effective storytelling techniques and make recommendations to improve organizations' overall performance through L&D interventions.
• Continuously monitor learner behavior on internal digital learning platforms and implement strategies to improve learner engagement in the digital space.
• Provide expert advice and counsel, as required, to the business and HR on digital learning opportunities and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with Thales' strategic business needs.
• Contribute to the design and development of digital learning programs and initiatives, ensuring they are executed using the most advanced tools at Thales and optimize user experience.
• Develop and manage digital learning marketing strategy to promote digital learning solutions to North America employees.
• Lead the maintenance and improvement of employee learning and development platforms (e.g. Udemy, Coursera, goFluent, MentorCliQ, etc.)
• Liaise with Human Resource Business Partners and business leaders to promote programs and understand changing business needs.
• Support the delivery of in-house digital trainings and work with external partners/suppliers to identify programs where necessary.
• Support the development of all e-Learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Partner with the IT department to maintain requirements for platforms and tools.
• Support the development of blended learning experience for employees.
• Responsible for connecting with the Digital Academy France and Thales Learning & Culture Global Team to align and deliver programs and participate in Corporate work groups.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field plus 3 years of experience.
Requires 3 years of experience in the following:
• Experience in corporate learning and development, talent management, or related HR functions.
• Experience developing and delivering in-person learning programs and curriculums for a diverse client group using multiple methods for engaging content and delivery.
• Project management experience to (drive end to end learning lifecycle management across various systems and analytics tools) plan, execute and monitor company-wide learning and development initiatives.
• Experience designing and configuring enterprise learning technology systems and applications for a large organization (5000+ users).
• Experience with building operational frameworks, SLAs and scalable processes to drive learning and skills development.
Requires 2 years of experience in the following:
• Managerial and leadership experience.
• Operational experience, including defining and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Developing and delivering digital learning programs and curriculums for a diverse client group using software including Articulate, Captivate or similar software, and understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, and HTML5.
Requires 1 year of experience in the following:
• Experience analyzing data, building reports and presentations, and identifying opportunities based on KPI trends.
Requires knowledge of the following gained through any amount of work experience, education, or certification:
• eLearning development using: Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite
• Cloud-based systems – learning management systems (LMS or LXP)
• Digital Learning Engineering or digital design
• Agile methodologies
• Adult learning theories
