Duties: Design digital and print communications for our platform, website, and social media, ensuring concepts work globally while scaling effectively for local needs. Collaborate with brand, marketing, content, and product design teams to translate business and marketing strategies into visually compelling artwork across all media channels. Create high-fidelity visuals, polished interaction prototypes, video and motion-graphics style frames, exhibition graphics, print collateral, presentations, infographics, branding assets, and digital advertisements. Develop beautiful, thoughtful, and engaging website experiences for all digital properties, and drive continuous iteration on existing sites. Apply deep knowledge of design systems and scalable design patterns, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all creative output. Help design for complex projects, advocating for visual excellence, user-centered design principles, and brand consistency throughout the entire creative process. Drive a collaborative and communicative workflow—from early-stage concepting and mood-boarding through final visual execution. Work closely with cross-functional partners including designers, product managers, software engineers, strategists, and executives to deliver high-impact creative solutions. Provide constructive, actionable feedback to design and writing peers to elevate overall team quality. Support the fast-moving creative needs of editorial, content, and social marketing teams with agility and attention to detail. Partner with product managers and product designers to create thoughtful icons, illustrations, and visual elements for our products and platform. Conduct independent creative research to generate insights and inspiration for innovative design ideas. Uphold and expand upon existing brand and campaign systems to ensure strong, cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Arts or a related field plus 2 years of experience in a related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience (or knowledge of with a Master's) in the following: Cross-Functional Collaboration: partnering with product designers, PMs, developers, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive, scalable design solutions; Design System Development: integrating visual/motion into design systems, contributing visual/animation specifications, and ensuring scalability and consistency across components; Visual and Motion Design Systems & Principles: defining, implementing, and maintaining visual/motion design guidelines that improve usability, accessibility, and brand storytelling across digital experiences; Prototyping, Visual & Animation Tools: After Effects, Rive, Lottie, Figma, and 3D design/animation tools for creating high-quality visual/motion and interaction prototypes; Interaction & UX Integration: user experience principles, with the ability to apply visual/motion purposefully to enhance clarity, hierarchy, and user engagement. Also requires 1 year of experience (or knowledge of with a Master's) in Creative Direction & Mentorship. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Arts or a related field plus knowledge of the above detailed skillsets. Telecommuting (remote work) is permitted.
