Duties:
Participate in the entire software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and deployment. Design and build component-based applications and configurable assets that facilitate easy implementation of business rules, ensuring scalability and flexibility across the application stack. Write clean, efficient and maintainable code using object-oriented programming languages. Write front end code. Contribute to both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Enhance and optimize new and existing applications to align with evolving business needs, ensuring robust functionality and optimal performance. Diagnose and debug applications across both development and production environments, resolving issues promptly to uphold system reliability within established timeframes. Understand relational database concepts and database design. Utilize database management tools to execute data manipulations, including complex SQL queries and stored procedures and functions. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold high standards of code quality and maintain consistency across the development team. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, testers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful project execution. Engage actively in agile ceremonies, such as planning meetings, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to contribute to the team's continuous improvement and alignment with project goals.
Work from home permitted 1-2 days per week. Must work at employer's office in Holmdel, NJ other days.
