Sr Scientist -- Pharma and Nutrition (Innophos, Inc. / Cranbury, NJ) - Develop & improve formulations & product apps for portfolio of pharmaceutical & dietary supplement products; collaborate with customer's product innovation, sales, & marketing to promote functional value-added solutions.
Requirements: Requires Bach. or higher deg in Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Nutrition, Chem., or closely related field & 5 yrs exp in job offered or as Formulation Sci or Pharmaceutical Sci or in closely related position(s). Background in education, training, or exp must include exp with pharmaceutical formulation & excipient functionality; exp with dosage form design including tablets, capsules & other Oral Solid Dosage as well as liquids & semi solids; strong knowledge of common health & pharma processes, ingredient functionality, & ingredient interactions; hands-on exp with excipients in pharmaceutical & dietary supplements. Approx 25-40% travel required both domestically & internationally to attend trade shows & conferences & to visit clients.
Salary $115,000 to $159,000 per yr; bonus potential of up to 10% of eligible earnings.
