Develop & execute demand plans to support specialized polymers portfolio; Monitor & assess market trends, activities, & tech advancements; Oversee inventory levels, recommend strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce excess, & prevent shortages; Conduct root cause analysis on inventory variances, implement solutions to enhance accuracy & reliability; Identify & lead initiatives for process improvements in demand planning; Prep reports on demand forecast accuracy, inventory status, & KPIs.
Requirements:
Requires exp w/: analyzing data, including mass cross-reference data validation, trending & forecasting; communicating w/ functional levels within business; regional demand planning using SAP (or equiv ERP system), Business Warehouse (or equiv data warehouse), & Arkieva (or equiv advanced planning s/w); independently working in supply chain process; MS Office (Excel, Access, SharePoint); demand forecasting techniques & statistical analysis; IBP processes specific to polymers; crosslinking, polymer additives, organometallic & thermosets. Requires: Bachelors degree or foreign equiv in Supply Chain, Business Admin, Chemical Eng, or related field; & 5 yrs exp in demand planning or supply chain roles specific to polymers. Travel required 10% within USA.
