Vice President, Asset Finance & Securitization with BNP Paribas in New York, NY. Execute & originate banking & capital markets structured financings in transportation/aviation.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Aerospace / Aeronautics & 5 years of experience in Investment Banking & Structured Finance &/or Transportation Sector OR Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Aerospace / Aeronautics & 3 years of experience in Investment Banking & Structured Finance &/or Transportation Sector.
Must have 5 years of experience (or 3 with Master's) with:
- Expertise in Aviation: Knowledge of the aviation industry & players, & expertise in aviation finance structures or structured finance in general
- Asset Finance Structuring: Ability to understand, originate & structure different asset financing products: Commercial loans, Insurance Guaranteed financings, Warehouses debt, tax optimized lease structures, EETCs & Aircraft ABS
- Credit/Financial Analysis: Experience drafting of greenlight memos & credit applications to present & defend in credit committees
- Modelling skills: Build financial & cash-flow models in Excel & assess risk & future financial performance through stress testing at the corporate & asset levels
Must have 3 years of experience with:
- Deal Structuring: Ability to lead asset secured debt & capital markets transactions from origination to structuring, syndication & execution of mandates
- Contract Negotiation skills: Negotiate legal & structural terms in asset financing term sheets & transaction legal documents & assist in deal execution
FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 79, & Series 63 (must have passed within 5 months of hire).
10% Domestic & International travel required (US & Canada, South America, Europe). Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in New York, NY.
