Supervise multiple client audit engagements by advising clients on various economic & regulatory risks, formulating audit plans & answering complex questions involving GAAP & GAAS. Domestic travel required up to 20% of time to work unanticipated client sites & BDO office locations nationally.
Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration or related field & 4 years of experience in job offered, Experience Audit Senior, Staff Accountant, or related. In lieu of Bachelor's, ER will accept 2 years of related experience. Must have experience in each: Resolving complex accounting issues; Applying GAAS, GAAP, SEC, & PCAOB reporting rules; Public accounting; Reviewing engagement profitability, including billings & collections; Microsoft Office products, including Windows, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint; & using various assessment apps & research tools. Must have CPA OR sufficient education/experience requirement (as determined by state Board of Accounting) to receive CPA within 24 months of hire or promotion. ER will accept any stable combination of education, training or experience.
