Evaluating complex sets of insurance exposure data across multiple accounts, making recommendations for business profit-flow enhancement; Working with stakeholders to identify business problems & optimizing problems to perform analytics & modeling in support of identifying solutions; Making assumptions/recommendations based on analysis of missing/incomplete data; Performing quarterly portfolio management impact analysis for business units within Chubb, analyzing primary key drivers of losses & identify strategies to support business units; & Preparing & presenting insight & commentary on modeling summary narratives & other deliverables.
Experience required: Moody's (RiskLink & Risk Modeler), AIR Touchstone & KatRisk catastrophe models; SQL to manipulate large complex datasets; R; simulation platforms & methodology, including RMS Simulation Platform, MetaRisk, or Impact Forecasting; & insurance & reinsurance concepts including: treaty contracts, policy terms, underwriting operations & product management, managing natural & unmanned CAT risk, model evaluation & research.
Requirements: Bachelor or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Math, or related & 3 years as senior catastrophe modeling analyst or related. Hybrid work from home may be available. Travel required: 5% in US & every other year to India.
