The Medical Laboratory Scientist III NYQ in the Mass Spec Operations laboratory will provide services of a technical and non-technical nature for toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring and may also provide services for drugs of abuse screening; will operate/maintain instrument platforms such as AB Sciex 5500 LC-MS/MS and Agilent LC-MS/MS Systems; perform routine and complex lab tests to provide physicians with rapid and accurate results; perform waived, moderate, and highly complex analytical processes; establish, perform, and document quality assurance, quality control, and equipment maintenance; confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments; correlate and interpret data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results; data handling and input; assists the laboratory in assay, reagents, and laboratory software validations; standard operating procedure updates; training and support of employees in the laboratory.
