Wabtec US Rail, Inc. dba Wabtec Corporation seeks Lead Supplier Quality Engineer in Fort Worth, TX.
-Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation.
-Select suppliers through qualification processes.
-Own supplier results and drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards.
-Perform supplier audits, ensure compliance, and drive improvement plans.
-Conduct Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.
-Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assist key suppliers towards industrial standards.
-Negotiate the best commercial and technical package for procurement requirements.
-Work with allocated key suppliers to improve On Time Delivery and Quality statistics to target levels.
-Communicates across direct organization.
-Present to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific purchasing space and on cross functional teams on how purchasing contributes to overall strategy.
-Assist in the continuous development of the Procurement function towards best practice.
-Identify and deliver value-adding opportunities from the supply chain.
-Advise Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
-Play a role as a project leader of medium sized projects or major contributor to bigger projects.
