• Analyze customer needs versus Teradyne product capability
• Verify all customer's product specs to improve Teradyne product capability.
• Generate and verify test programs and solutions in Visual C++.
• Study and research new device techniques, new hardware/firmware, and new software features.
• Work for device characterization applications and determine the operational performance of the critical operating parameters.
• Utilize an understanding of how the individual voltage, current, and timing parameters interact with the circuit implementations to device characterization suites that will test and guarantee proper operation under worst-case combinations of each.
• Perform semiconductor testing issue investigation and resolution.
• Interview customers to collect all the known information about issues and work with the customer to reproduce the issue.
• Work directly with Nextest Engineers to explain and demonstrate problems, provide any additional information/data requested, and verify the proposed solutions before presenting them to the customer and implementing the solution in their environment.
• Utilize factory apps to create a special test program and debug calibration, software, and hardware issues for prototype systems to make sure the hardware and software work as designed.
• Collaborate with Engineering to find any issues and fix them
