Analysts & Reporting Analyst, ensuring effective performance in operational delivery. Contribute to development of Procurement's long-term data strategy by engaging w/ stakeholders to identify trends, assess challenges, & evaluate current & future needs.
Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field & 5 years experience in related data scientist, business analyst, or quantitative analyst occupation required. Alternatively, Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field & 3 years experience in related data scientist, business analyst, or quantitative analyst occupation are acceptable. Position requires: 3 years experience leading data transformation & business insight development projects; 3 years experience translating technical knowledge into business terms; 3 years experience in data mining & statistical analysis, pattern recognition & predictive modeling; 3 years experience w/ complex data architecture schemas, data transformation processes (ETL) & data enrichment methodology associated to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) spend execution & management, procurement supply chain insights & data quality management; 3 years experience w/ SQL or equivalent languages (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL & MySQL) for querying & managing data in relational databases; 3 years of advanced Excel experience, including complex formula creation, statistical & graphical analysis, pivot tables, & macro development; 3 years experience w/ data architecture tools; & 3 years of advanced Tableau development & data visualization tools. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at the National Grid offices in Waltham, MA. $161,803 - $161,603 per year.
