Multiple Positions. Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science + 5 years programming, post-baccalaureate experience as Software Engineer or Application Developer. Requires 5 years experience with: design, development, & integration Microservices with Spring Boot to streamline & enhance backend systems functionality; implement modular & scalable services architecture, ensure efficient communication between services through RESTful APIs; utilize Spring Boot capability to reduce development complexity & improve maintenance, collaborate with frontend & DevOps to ensure seamless integration, deployment, & performance optimization; design, develop, & test scalable & secure RESTful APIs using Java & Spring Boot framework; architect API endpoints to support front-end & 3rd party integration; implement best practices for object-oriented design & microservices architecture; write unit & integration tests to ensure code quality & reliability; design, develop, & implement integration solutions to connect modern APIs with legacy mainframe systems to support commercial & consumer-facing services; analyze existing mainframe environment, identify integration points, & utilize middleware, API gateways, & data translation tools to ensure seamless & secure data exchange; Java; SQL; Spring Boot; Hibernate; JPA; JMS; ActiveMQ; IBM MQ; Kafka; Docker; Kubernetes; JUnit; & Mockito.
May allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Pay Range: $103,651-$155,000.
