SAExploration Seismic Services (US), LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Observer to plan, execute, and manage seismic survey projects, including logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation for field acquisition projects in land, transition zone, and/or marine seismic projects in Arctic, desert, jungle, and/or water-based operations and supervise the daily operations of the Recorder.
The position requires 50% domestic travel within the continental U.S. and Alaska, with the employee expected to work at various unanticipated locations across these regions, and 20% international travel to various unanticipated worksites. The employee may reside anywhere in the U.S. and will travel to the worksites for the duration of the assignment, with the Employer covering costs to and from the employee's residence, food, and incidental costs at assigned worksites. The work schedule includes alternating on-duty and off-duty rotations, with onshore rotations lasting 28-35 days on-duty and 7-14 days off-duty, while offshore projects involve 42 days on-duty and 14-21 days off-duty. Work shifts are typically 12-14 hours per day, and work is not required while on off-duty rotations.
