Develop robust understanding of risk methodologies. Contribute to risk metrics using professional tools such as Blackrock Aladdin Risk Platform, Intex & Bloomberg for fixed income public securities as well as private securities including securitized investments (asset-backed, mortgage-backed collateral, private placement).
Position requires a Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Enterprise Risk Management or related field & 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have 3 years of experience with: Fixed-income risk metrics, including but not limited to risk factors & risk sensitivity measures; Perform deep dive risk analysis across assets, assist in preparing the reporting materials for regular external & internal meetings, client ad-hoc requests, cross team support; Collaborate with Team Head to analyze & manage credit risk related issues by identifying, measuring, & making business decisions including but not limited to establishing controls on Monitor & Watch List names, updating the list as part of Portfolio Surveillance on a regular basis, providing real-time analysis on macro market environment; Assist in developing & enhancing risk environment models for different asset classes leveraging Blackrock Aladdin Risk Platform, Intex & Bloomberg, including testing & comparing risk factor definitions, market dashboard automation, stress testing, & index/parameter choices; Maintain long-term client relationships by advising clients on regulatory requirements, & on communications with regulators; Design & conduct full life cycle research projects on climate risk & other non-financial risks (e.g., risk identification, risk appetite, scenario analysis, monitoring, & disclosures); & Design & implement integrations of research results into existing risk management framework.
