INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines Inc. seeks Advanced Engineer - Product Support in Waukesha, WI to support quality & sourcing functions w/technical engineering support. Provide technical leadership to new supplier development & component qualification project, leading validation tests for key engine component.
Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design Technology or related field & 3 years experience in related mechanical design and/or development occupation required. Position requires: 2 years mechanical design and/or development experience w/components & systems of reciprocating internal combustion engines and/or engine-driven packaged equipment; 2 years experience w/GD&T & tolerance calculations in development process; 2 years experience w/materials, manufacturing & assembly processes, including experience working w/associated functional organizations; 2 years experience solving component issues via root cause analysis process; & 1 year experience leading mechanical development/engineering product support or Root Cause Analysis projects. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at the INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines Inc. office in Waukesha, WI.
