Senior Manager Product Development, Schwan Shared Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Schwan's Company, seeks a Senior Manager Product Development at our facility in Gahanna, Ohio. Responsible for managing the food product development process and new food product excellence to support existing and future business objectives, to achieve long-range solutions/opportunities, and to increase speed to market. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Food Sciences, Food Science and Biological Sciences, Food Science and Technology or a closely related field OR a Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Food Science and Technology or closely related field.
Experience: For candidates with the qualifying bachelor's degree, at least ten years of experience as an R&D Scientist, Senior R&D Scientist, Food Scientist, Dough Scientist, Food Sr. Researcher or similar position developing food products at a food manufacturer and distributor. For candidates with the qualifying master's degree, at least eight years of experience as an R&D Scientist, Senior R&D Scientist, Food Scientist, Dough Scientist, Food Sr. Researcher or similar position developing food products at a food manufacturer and distributor.
Work from home, one day a week, in the Columbus, Ohio area is permitted but not required. Minimal domestic travel – 10%.
