Conduct research on genetic mechanisms underlying Prune Belly Syndrome (PBS) & posterior cloaca malformations. Establish & maintain patient-derived iPSC biobank, including reprogramming, maintenance & characterization of iPSCs using immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, RT-PCR & Western blot to assess pluripotency. PBMC & urine sample processing from patients & families for downstream analysis & biobanking. Perform molecular cloning & site-directed mutagenesis for plasmid generation. Responsible for general lab maintenance.
Minimum requirements include: Bachelor's in Biology, Biotechnology or Microbiology, plus 1 year experience in molecular biology techniques (RNA, DNA & protein extraction, cDNA synthesis & RT-PCR), immunofluorescence (mouse tissues, imaging, cryosectioning & mouse handling), ELISA & cell culture techniques.
