Implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual solutions for our data management practice. Develop a Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics roadmap for the organization. Set up standards and best practices. Rationalize the various BI Analytics tools across the organization, including Information Management Systems such as Teradata, Vertica, Informatica PowerCenter, and Messaging Technology, in the data management space, and Analytical tools/products such as Microstrategy and Tableau to develop Analytical solutions. Establish standards and guidance for the appropriate tools to use. Work with executive leadership and key stakeholders to serve as a trusted partner in the delivery of business outcomes and value leveraging data and analytics while also informing enterprise and business data and analytics strategy. Provide technical & resource management leadership to a team of staff and contractors to deliver successful projects in the information management space. Drive IT solutions to ensure they meet the business needs balanced with a pragmatic and integrated approach to the design of technical solutions. May telecommute up to 2 days per week.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus ten (10) years of progressive experience in the job offered or related occupation involving Information Management Systems such as Teradata, Vertica, Informatica PowerCenter, or Messaging Technology in the Data Management space, two (2) years of which must involve experience with Analytical tools/products such as Microstrategy or Tableau to develop Analytical solutions, and leading teams of staff & contractors to deliver successful projects in the information management space.
