American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Data Engineers to work with product teams to understand business data requirements, identify data needs and data sources to create data architecture, and support changes and implementation.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Eng, Info Sys, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible database development experience. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: developing & tuning with a relational database (RDBMS); database development & support of OLTP & OLAP systems; transforming logical data architectures into physical data designs; applying Agile methodologies; database development & support of Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) systems; Big Data tools, including Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, & Apache Spark distributed framework; & with BI reporting, database process optimization, data modeling, data profiling, data quality, data security, data processing (ETL), dimensional modeling, IBM DB2, Kafka, Linux, MySQL, Netezza, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, schema design, SQL tuning, & Sqoop.
Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week. Job Location: Phoenix, AZ. Rate of Pay: $123,000.00 - $215,250.00 annually.
