Define/document software design & interfaces for embedded software run on Philips Hue devices.
Bachelor degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study (or foreign equivalent) & 7 years of related experience required. Company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of related experience.
Experience must include 3 years of: design, implementation, & automated unit test of apps written in C/C++, shell scripting, & MicroPython for embedded devices; design & implementation of Embedded Linux systems including Linux Kernel & Linux Filesystems (UBI/UBIFS), using Buildroot or OpenWRT; design & implementation of internet connected devices with Wi-Fi, ZigBee & BLE connectivity; design & implementation of systems & APIs communicating through HTTP(S) & MQTT(S) protocols; design & implementation of hardware, firmware, & their hardware-firmware interfaces; design & implementation of secure embedded device platform with provisioning, firmware update, & analytics collection functionalities, using encryption & digital signing algorithms; writing advanced SQL queries to analyze device diagnostics data; & develop Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment pipelines for building & testing device firmware.
