Director & Actuary (Houston, TX): Lead the periodic GAAP, statutory, & tax valuation for AIG's ceded business & act as a liaison with the India-based team to ensure team deliverables are met on a timely basis. Manage, review, & provide sign off on reinsurance valuation activities, including TAI reserve output & reserve trend analysis. Review financials & prepare reports to explain results to senior management. Lead a group of actuaries. Explain actuarial earnings & concepts to different audiences. Work with advanced mathematics & accounting principles; reinsurance accounting; & reinsurance assets & liabilities.
