Ports/Structural Engineer. Design structural, geotechnical, & civil elements for a range of projects, from site layouts to complex marine & industrial structures. Perform analysis & design of foundations, retaining walls, piers, trestles, ATONs, & other structures. Apply soil-structure interaction principles under gravity & lateral loading. Develop constructible design plans, technical details, specs, & cost estimates. Coordinate drawing packages from IFR to IFC & support field inspections during construction. Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, & technical studies. Interface w/ clients such as port authorities, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, & private companies. Utilize engineering software, such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, spSlab, spMat, Mathcad, LPILE, GROUP, A-Pile, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Optimoor, and MS Office.
Require Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering w/ 2 yrs of related experience.
