Develop, apply mathematical, statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information. Develop tools and software applications using Ruby, Rails, and Python to improve operational and business processes. Participate in the design and evaluation of new tools, techniques and technologies. Design, implement and maintain architecture of Coupa's Cloud platform. Participate in security and operational design and code reviews. Assist internal teams with advanced engineering troubleshooting/diagnostics related to operational issues. Telecommuting permitted.
Job Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:
- Visual Studio integrated development environment experience with multiplatform configurations;
- Web services development and maintenance experience with an understanding of system design methodologies;
- Building applications using Data Mining and Deep Neural Networks;
- SQL and NoSQL database systems including Postgres, Firestore and MongoDB to support application development processing data;
- Development language in C++ to build applications and features within current software development code and standards;
- Working within Client/Server environment with an understanding of software practices supporting development of applications;
- Memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization; and
- Testing, debugging, and other code competency as it relates to and support development of code base/applications for feature set.
