Lead long-term research & development proj's to incorporate adv academic research on comp and HW engg into the firm's trading infra & eval existing infra using these adv concepts. Monitor live trading strats & make tech adjustments based on mkt conditions & direction from Algo Devs. Troubleshoot sys in SW & HW to resolve op issues. Mentor new grp membs, providing guidance on research initiatives & firm tools & infra. Eval busi unit requests for new or mod components for our low-lat, blended HW & SW trading sys.
Req's: Bachelor's (U.S. or foreign equiv.) in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, SW Engg, or a rel field, plus 6 mos of exp in the pos offered, Core Dev, or rel exp. All req'd exp must have incld: Exp developing & maintaining SW tools in C++ & Python to monitor & control a low-lat blended HW & SW trading sys. Exp with troubleshooting systems in SW & HW to resolve op issues. Exp producing testing harnesses & processes in C++ & Python. Employer will accept any amt of prof exp w/ req'd skills.
