Odoo, Inc. seeks a Product Expert Coordinator in Brisbane, CA. Serving as a subject matter expert of advanced functional knowledge and implementation best practices across all supported Odoo versions, working directly with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), Presales consultants, and Odoo Partners (Gold, Silver, Ready, and Learning levels).
- Create reliable internal and external resources (guides, videos, Forum posts, etc.) to solve the most relevant business cases.
- Effectively communicate feedback/features gathered from the Business Systems Analyst Team to the R&D team to develop new features for the different Americas markets.
- Collaborate with different departments (Marketing, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, etc.) to support them in their daily activities, such as creating YouTube videos, Official documentation, and closing deals with potential/existing customers.
- Experts help Business Systems Analysts and the company elevate competency in specific knowledge areas. For example, the experts will help the accounting department understand how Odoo works for them and the best new practices.
Serving as an implementation specialist, working directly with clients and partners from different industries. This is for the end client to have a working ERP solution.
- Manage client relationships while implementing Odoo SaaS/SH solutions.
- Analyze all aspects of clients' business operations to map their processes to Odoo's solutions.
- Quantify the resources required for a task/project related to an Enterprise Resource Platform implementation.
- Collaborate with Odoo's developers to execute clients' and partners' business requirements so they can have a custom module in Odoo that helps cover additional requirements.
- Collaborate with the client's implementation managers on User Acceptance Testing and End User Training.
- Occasionally advise the sales team during pre-sale regarding complex implementations.
Supervising 3-5 peer Business Systems Analysts, performing peer solutions checks to ensure high-quality, effective responses to requirements.
- The expert conducts quality reviews for partners and customers throughout key stages—pre-sales, analysis, implementation, delivery, and post-support—to maintain consistency and excellence across the project lifecycle.
- The expert will help the BSA develop the adequate hard and soft skills for the BSAs to develop the right mindset and knowledge when tackling difficult/advanced use cases with the clients.
