Clients Pricing: Establish the guidelines for the collateral management in DEC including recommended conditions on fees & interest rates, maintain & update our acceptable collateral policy & haircut schedules, & work closely w/ Sales & Product Teams to create tailored collateral solutions for our clients.
Position requires a Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Engineering Finance or related field & 7 years of experience in the Investment Banking Industry. Must have 7 years of experience w/: Platform & Process Enhancement: Driving strategy & roadmap for margin, cash, & collateral products, simplifying settlement bank & custodian setups, & developing custom collateral management solutions to improve trading efficiency & reduce operational risks; Strategic Planning & Optimization: Creating tailored financing solutions for clients, strategically allocating assets across regions, & optimizing daily cash management to support trading strategies & enhance market positions; Investment Decision-Making: Driving investment decisions based on client needs & collateral flows, including trading in Money Market Funds, Repo-Reverse Repo, & government Bonds to maximize returns & manage liquidity; Financial Analysis: Conducting client profitability reviews, monitoring P&L (Profit & Loss) for trading activities, & collaborating w/ the Finance department for P&L reconciliations & reporting to ensure accurate trading performance metrics; and Risk Management: Managing risk limits framework & ensuring efficient risk management processes to mitigate market volatility & protect trading portfolios. Must have 1 year of experience w/: Collateral Management: Establishing guidelines for collateral management, maintaining & updating policies, & creating tailored collateral solutions for clients to optimize trading positions & reduce counterparty risk.
10% domestic & international travel required within the U.S., UK, & France. Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Securities Corp. office in NY, NY. Salary: $200,000 - $265,000/year.
