Lead, mentor, appropriately delegate, & empower a team of 3-5+ engineers to deliver against strategic business outcomes.
Requires Master's in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field or equivalent, & 2 years of experience working with Development teams & improving services & infrastructural changes as a part of root cause analysis & resolution of incidents; creating & enhancing automation to ensure deployment of systems; enhancing infrastructures & auto-scale in the face of increasing network traffic or storage pressure; working with teams to implement requirements for Pub-Sub system (Kafka); setting up & maintaining monitoring for apps using Splunk & Yamls; setting up Splunk dashboards to read from local metric exporter & provide quick visibility into cluster state; leading projects to develop tools based on user's requirements & usage, concentrated to reduce the troubleshooting time of engineers & improve visibility into the infrastructure; & in executing duties, utilizing tools including Chef, Screwdriver v2/v3, Jenkins, Pogo, Artifactory, & Git; & working with high-volume, highly-available messaging clusters including Kafka & Zookeeper, Hashicorp Consul, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Package management, Splunk, Monitoring systems, & Certificate & Identity management systems.
Telecommuting &/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Salary range: $266,962.00 - $302,000.00/yr.
