Propose/assess structural features of transactions (across receivables optimization, payables extension, inventory management solutions, structured trade finance, & documentary & standby letter of credit facilities)
Position requires a Bachelor degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field & 2 years of experience in trade finance, supply chain management, banking, or other financial services. Must have 2 years of experience w/: Deliver transaction banking solutions focused on liquidity optimization, principally through trade finance & supply chain management (receivables optimization, payables extension, inventory management) products/services for corporate clients w/ international activity; Track record of executing complex &/or syndicated/distributed trade &/or supply chain management transactions & product enhancement initiatives within transaction banking; Application of accounting principles & financial statement analysis. Conducting peer group working capital analysis (general understanding of how such indicators drive company performance & the relevance of transaction banking solutions across different sectors); Understanding & negotiating legal documentation. Working w/ credit related legal documentation (credit agreements, reimbursement agreements, receivables purchase agreements, paying agency agreements, platform service agreements, participation agreements, collection account control agreements, etc.); & Drafting product memos & corresponding w/ various stakeholders/deal teams, & presenting in pitch & client meetings as well as in internal meetings. Must have 1 year of experience w/ thorough knowledge of international transaction banking practices working w/ all trade instruments such as SBLCs, guarantees, or documentary Letters of Credit as well as international practices (ISP98 or UCP600) governing the use of these instruments & operational aspects involved in their processing, including structural features of such instruments/facilities (including fronting risk).
*Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in NY, NY. Salary: $125,000- $140,000/year.
