• Acts as an advisor and partner to key business executives and cross-functional leaders, providing ongoing support on business issues and opportunities aligned with profitable growth opportunities.
• Leads or assists in projects to determine strategic direction for Assurant and Global Connected Living.
• Leads growth strategy projects for Assurant; leveraging market, client, and consumer needs, assessing capability strengths and gaps, and developing business cases to justify and prioritize areas for growth.
• Assists in the identification and evaluation of M&A targets and broader Build/Partner/Buy strategy.
• Supports critical client discussions with attention to opportunities.
• Supports senior leaders in developing clear communication of the strategy and future, for use in internal and external discussions.
• Project manages virtual team efforts spanning strategy and non-strategy team members towards a business objective.
• Acts as a leader and change agent to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and path to get there.
• Guides, advises, and assists in tough decisions around profitability and future potential in alignment with Enterprise strategic directions and metrics.
