Build systems and tools that enable data scientists to create machine learning applications using the C3 AI Platform. Enable scalable, end-to-end machine learning pipelines in a distributed system. Collaborate with and support data scientists to understand the utility of the C3 AI Platform and define new requirements. Mentor junior members of the team. Work with product owners to define and lead the development of longer-term C3 AI platform capabilities.
Job Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology or in related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills: 1. Object-oriented programming and design using languages, including: Java, Python, and JavaScript and tools, including: JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm Professional, and Microsoft's VS Code; 2. Design patterns and their application; 3. Data structures and algorithms used in machine learning frameworks; 4. DevOps tools, including: Vagrant, Packer, Ansible, and Terraform; 5. Kubernetes (K8s); 6. Web application development with React and Redux; and 7. Agile development frameworks, including: Scrum. Employment and background checks may be required.
