(Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Act as Fullstack Engineer building and extending secure, scalable services and well-tested APIs to power client applications in relation to mobile architecture and development. Design and implement end-to-end solutions in relation to distributed systems and event-driven architectures, profile client systems and scale bottlenecks. Develop and deploy robust end-to-end features for cross-platform mobile applications (iOS & Android), leveraging Agile methodologies, cutting-edge frameworks, and implementing advanced multivariate A/B testing to optimize user engagement and drive data-driven decision making. Diagnose and optimize performance bottlenecks in mobile applications. Develop and refine system architectures to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Write, review, and maintain high-quality code, addressing complex technical challenges. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering teams. Assess and recommend new technologies or tools that align with company goals and enhance productivity. Oversee the maintenance and optimization of existing systems to enhance performance and address issues. Act as a liaison between technical teams and management, translating business objectives into technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan sprints, prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively and deliver foundational architecture improvements. Provide quarterly on-call mobile architecture support. Utilize at least 9 of the following 15 tools/skills: React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, Nestjs, GraphQL, Docker, Rails, AWS, Postgres, Apache Kafka, Redis, Apollo, Redux, trunk-based CI/CD.
Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related and four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent plus six (6) years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related. Four (4) years of experience must include utilizing at least 9 of the following 15 tools/skills: React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, Nestjs, GraphQL, Docker, Rails, AWS, Postgres, Apache Kafka, Redis, Apollo, Redux, trunk-based CI/CD. $213,512 per year.
