Responsible for the planning, coordination, & implementation of IT projects for strategic monitoring & observability tools including AppDynamics, Splunk, BSM, Aternity, & Evolven. REQS: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, or related field & 5 years of experience as an Engineering Lead Analyst, Infrastructure Senior Tech Analyst, Infrastructure Analyst, or related position involving monitoring of applications & services for the financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields & 7 years of the progressive post-BA experience. Full span must include: Technology stacks including WebSphere, Tibco Business Works, Tibco Enterprise Messaging System, Message Queue, Web Servers, Pivot Cloud Foundry, & OpenShift; S/W Dev Lifecycle, including apps development, performance testing procedures, & engineering certification processes; Implementation of monitoring & observability tools including AppDynamics, Splunk, BSM, & Evolven; AppDynamics for application process monitoring to identify application performance bottlenecks & reduce impact from outages; Log & event monitoring using Splunk Log Analytics, including custom Splunk search queries, dashboards & alerts; Evolving financial services function to connect & enable the correlation of application performance with business transactions through impacted systems; & Working with complex ecosystems that have both cloud technologies & legacy technologies, including mainframe & monolith services. 1 year of experience must include: Aternity to analyze user interactions & performance metrics for end-user monitoring, including processes to rollout dashboards, alerts & business transactions; change reconciliation monitoring using Evolven to track & validate changes, including deploying agents to services & facilitating custom requirements for application.
