Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring of computer & information systems activities, especially by determining information data needs, security needs and related operations needs for our company and our projects and making hardware and software-related decisions to meet those needs. Develop computer info. systems, & control, strategic computing & recovery; Monitor & manage hardware/software performance, upgrades, & installations relative to our organization's computer networks & systems; data integrity, & security initiatives/measures, and also relative to clientele's info, data, & operations; Analyze tech, evaluate IT, & systems; test/evaluate new tech., and provide objective & technical recommendations & support on use of IT, systems, & data regs; Support & manage routine, in-house, course-of-business computer tech. data management, & also implement security systems to protect computer networks from cyber-attacks, set & maintain security standards and perform penetration testing, as well as internal security audits, risk assessments & analysis; Support, maintain, and update field computer/laptops with clientele progress data, troubleshooting data, etc.; Consult & collaborate with executives, managers, & engineers & tech. professionals to ensure cross-functional consistency; Gather feedback from end users to continue to improve systems; Manage info. systems policies & documentation. Include backing strategies, user training materials, network maps, security policies, etc.
Min. requirements: (1) Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or in any suitable field of study or combo. of education substitute related to Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; or its equivalent; (2) Strong proficiency in project management skills; (3) Strong proficiency in data management, data mining & data warehousing; (4) Strong proficiency in data analysis software (incl. R Studio) & database software (incl. SQL), and server/network technologies. Above technologies/skills may be gained during academic studies.
