Software Engineer (Xpand Corporation, Herndon, VA) Responsible for all aspects of software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, system administration, technical assessments, recommendations for inclusion of new technologies into system applications & architecture. Design, build & maintain user interface (UI), business & data layer for web applications. Design & develop enterprise content functionality management. Plan, track & manage software development activities.
Min. Requirements: Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field, + 3 yrs of experience in the position offered or related occupation working as a Software Engineer. Must have 3 yrs of experience in: designing web applications using Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, or .Net Core; planning, tracking & managing software development activities in VSS, TFS, or Azure DevOps; creating Web API's using .Net technologies; develop front end applications using React or Angular. In lieu of Masters + 3 yrs of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field, + 5 yrs of experience in the position offered or related occupation working as a Software Engineer. *Applicants with any suitable combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable.
