Research various options for possible international food and liquor products to be imported and sold by our company; analyze proposals of buyers for purchase of international specialty foods and liquor; maintain daily contact with existing vendors; choose best option of possible new vendors presented by buyers, interview, negotiate, prepare contracts with new vendors, create recommendation reports for general manager as to each new vendor and update reports as items are sold to assess continued viability, maintain progress reports on each product as shipment begins; prepare, process requisitions and purchase orders of goods ordered and received, suggest product substitution when needed, resolve vendors grievances, analyze the delivery systems of products.
Requirements: Bachelor of Arts degree & 18 months experience in job offered in all of the above subsequent to attainment of Bachelor's degree. 40hrs/wk, 9-5. Job in Wheeling, IL. Applicants must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
