Will work 8 am-5 pm, to coordinate and schedule activities of roofing workers, assist in supervision and management of workers, work orders, suppliers, subcontractors. Will provide assistance with use of PVC, TPO and hypolon membranes for flat roofs; install roll asphalt and saturated felt shingles with nail gun; use mop and spread hot bitamen on roof; apply tar paper, adhesive or mechanical fasteners, drip edge, trace surfaces to place battens, roofing felt, and cut with knife to fit around vents, chimney and corners; and remove old roof and shingles. Help train workers in roofing, operation of equipment, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Experience must show 24 months experience in roofing construction and demonstrate ability to frequently lift 80 lbs., willingness to wear required safety gear, to work in all kinds of weather, on steep, high places up to 30 feet above ground, and to remove old roofs, shingles or asphalt roofs.
